The idea for this series came to me through my interest in past lives and their influence on my present life. Using the images I saw on guided meditations as reference for some of the elements. 

For this painting I chose to have a strong girl in aristocratic clothes, which are from the film Elizabeth The Golden Age. She’s a girl who shows her suffered life in the streets, who looks older than she is, taken by the photographer Bruce Gilden. It’s an interesting combination of the two opposite poles that go unnoticed here. What you see here is an aristocrat with strong character and possibly a hidden story. The leaves represent the portal in the garden.
